Ok, laughed my "culo" off! But yes, it is scary...
It WAS funny, but I had to remind myself that it was right on point, and that is frightening! How has our country come to this?
Diana - thanks for posting this! As Megan and Nancy have said, it would be funny if it weren't so frightening!
Man - I'm not loading/seeing anything - off to see if it loads using a different browser.
Ah! You beat me to it; I was trying to get it this morning and the links kept crashing my computer. Okay, it's true but you have to admit, it's a lot funny. Glad to see that SNL is returning to the political satire that I used to love.
It's friggin' hysterical, Kim, you are absolutely right. My God, she sounds like Palin. I am finding it really important to maintain my sense of humor with this stuff. Thanks for the comments, Ladies. :)
I'm so glad you saw this skit and posted it Diana, I was going to send it to you if you hadn't seen it. It really is hysterical, Tina Fey (my favorite comedian) really has Sarah's accent down pat. It really is no laughing matter but I am a bit more hopeful today with the publishing of the front page NY Times article on her and her record as govenor. Perhaps some of her fans may really start to see what a bad choice she is on so many levels. Then again the conservative bloggers have already trashed it as NYT liberal pap. Hopefully independent voters will take notice.
I watched it last night. Was amazed at how well Tina Fey had her accent and mannerisms down to even the way she does that thing with her lip. And that is scary that I know that much about her mannerisms! Hopefully the voters are noticing more than that like what she really stands for and how much trouble we will be in if she does get in! She sounds more of a "let's go to war" person than even McCain!! Of course don't forget...she can see Alaska!!
Speaking of the Times, they had an interesting op-ed piece today from Thomas Friedman, Making America Stupid.
Diana,I was going to post this but did something else instead. I'm glad you did. It is so, so funny.
Very funny and scary. The Friedman article was on point.
